Sorry about that. :D Anyway, yeah. I got a new phone. It's a PCD (or UT Starcom, I don't know) Shuttle. I love it, too.

Karaoke Night

It was fun. My uncle was so wasted by the end of the night that he kept wanting to sing a bunch of different Country songs, even though they wouldn't let him because they didn't have any more open spots (and because he was so drunk, but that's just my opinion).

It started out being really boring and awkward, mostly 'cause some stupid drunk lesbians kept getting up and singing (if your definition of "singing" is "jumping up and down while mumbling and yelling", of course). And one of them completely fucked up "I Think I'm Paranoid", which pissed me off. Come on! Garbage is awesome!

Towards the end of the night, I got up and sang "Lightning Crashes" by Live. Trust me, when I'm home alone, I sing at the top of my lungs, but singing in front of people has always bothered me greatly. I could barely even speak in front of two or three people before, but this experience really helped me. I felt really good after I did it, too. And the audience really liked it, which made me feel even better. I still feel happy about it, really.

Anyway, today we're gonna go to a place called "Dick's Last Resort", which is apparently a restaurant where the theme is that all of the people that work there are extremely mean and vulgar. My uncle was tellin' me that they're really good at keepin' a straight face and everything, even when they're insulting you. For instance, he asked for a drink one time and the waitress just said "Fuck you" and kept walking. Personally, I think it sounds fun. We'll see, though. I'll make a post about it, of course.

Well, you know the drill by now:

Connection Status: Found One!

Yep, I finally found an Internet connection in my aunt's house. It took awhile, but it's here and it's fast. Faster than I thought it would be, anyway.

My aunt does have a computer in her living room (which I would be using right now if I wouldn't have found this connection), but I absolutely hate the idea of having a computer in a living room. If you don't understand my griping, imagine someone walking up to you every two seconds to ask you what you're doing on the computer. It gets annoying. Trust me.

But I digress (or at least I try to)...

I'm having a great time down here. The weather is amazing (as usual), and I'm working on my tan. Don't know if I look any darker, though. I'll have to ask some people when I get back home.

We (me, mom, my aunt, and my grandma) went to the beach today. The weather cooperated with us by staying in a temperature somewhere in the middle. It was never too hot or too cold and the wind was blowing at a reasonable level. The water was perfect, too. I also picked up an umbrella for these two really hot chicks, and I could tell they were grateful. It didn't get past that, of course. After all, I'm only 13 (OH NO I GAVE OUT MY REAL AGE ON THE INTERNET).

Tonight we're gonna go eat at the club where my aunt works, and then we're gonna meet up with my uncle (my aunt's husband, in case you guys don't have a basic understanding of life on Earth) at some restaurant that has a karaoke machine. Apparently my aunt and uncle do a duet of the song "No Sugar Tonight", which will be funny because my aunt can't sing. At all.

I'll talk at ya later. Maybe I'll have more to say once I get back from the karaoke thing.

Leaving Hamburger Joe's

I'll add a bigger update later, I just don't have my laptop with me. :D

We got to The SC at least an hour ago and my aunt took us to a restaurant.

Going to The SC

So tomorrow I'm going to Myrtle Beach/South Carolina to visit my Aunt Pam. I'm gonna be there until... Sunday, so I guess that means I'll be there for... uh... four days? Yeah, four days.

I can't believe I actually had to take a few seconds to remember that. This summer is killing my knowledge from school more than I thought.

Anyway, yeah, four days. It's gonna be fun. I haven't been down there in at least a year, which isn't good, 'cause:

1) It's fucking Myrtle Beach (for those of you who don't know, Myrtle Beach is awesome).
2) My aunt lives there, and she's awesome and she's my aunt and yeah.

Yep, I'm definitely excited about this trip. Plus, I'm happy to finally have stuff to write about on here. I mean, don't get me wrong, blogging is a lot of fun, but I just never have anything to talk about. Like seriously. Never.

Oh, by the way, I've been getting back into the Fire Emblem series lately. I stopped playing it for awhile, and today I was just like "You know what? I'm gonna go play Fire Emblem today." I forgot how fun it is. If you've never played any of the games before, go play some (all of them) now. Personally, I recommend any of the handheld ones (especially the two for the GBA), but it's up to you. They're all awesome.

Alright, that's all I have to say right now. It's nice to have a long-ass post on here. Makes me feel like I've accomplished something.

Later.

(oh, and I hope The SC catches on as a suitable nickname for South Carolina. It's certainly much better than that "South Cackalacky" bullshit some people call it.)

Surprise buttsex!

Testing the Texting

Hey guys, just wanted to test a feature of Blogger that allows me to text my posts from my phone.

Why'd I Leave?

I can't answer that question. Seriously. I just forgot about this thing, which really isn't good, considering it's my blog, but whatever.

And for those of you wondering, yes, I did get my DSi. I couldn't tell you what day it was, but it was very soon after I made that post about it (the post before this post, for those of you keeping track). I've enjoyed the hell out of it, too. It's really a great little machine, mostly because I can't stop using the camera. I'll put some pics I've taken with it in with this post.

I am in love with this picture.

The trees in my front lawn. Very calming.

I'm cheating on the other picture with this one.

Waiting

Well, they were sold out of Nintendo DSi's at Game Crazy (which is the best video game store in the universe, mind you). This actually shocked me, mostly because I was certain that the DSi wouldn't be selling very well, and also because me and my friend just checked the DSi sales yesterday. Needless to say, they weren't good.

Also, I traded a whole bunch of shit in to get this infernal contraption, which ended up being a good amount (I got $98.70 out of like... four or five games. Once again, best video game store in the universe), but the deal Game Crazy was having ended (literally) yesterday. The funny thing is, I wanted to go yesterday, but I didn't want to ask my mom for fear of her not wanting to go at 8 or 9 at night (or whatever time it was). This deal would've made my DS Lite worth $90 towards the DSi, but instead it was only worth $50 (which isn't bad, but still!).

And now I wait. For how long? I have no idea.

You Will

Holy crap, it’s been awhile.

So yeah, hey, how’s everybody doing? I’m currently typing this through Windows Live Writer (which is a bit stupid, just to let you all know). Thought I’d update this old thing.

I start to feel bad for it, you know? Like it’s my kid or something.

Anyway, I’m going to be getting the new Nintendo DSi today. Yeah, I know, I know, I promised myself I wouldn’t give in either. But dudes… have you seen the camera? That shit is amazing.

SERIOUSLY

AMAZING

So I should be leaving to get that around noon-ish, perhaps I’ll grab a bite to eat (I fucking hate that phrase) or something. Until next time, guys.

Happy (Belated) New Year

2009 is here. That's right, we survived 2008. Crazy, right?

Not like it's much of an accomplishment, though. I mean, we've been through worse (can anyone say "George W. Bush"?). It just makes me happy that we can keep going on in this fucked-up world.

That's all.
